The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is notifying residents in the Charlie Lake area of upcoming sewer upgrades and maintenance in the Charlie Lake Sewer System including the repair and replacement of sanitary sewer infrastructure.
Construction is scheduled to begin on October 21, 2026, and continue until the end of December 2026, with work expected to take place between 8am and 5pm. Restoration and hydroseeding will take place in the spring of 2027.
There should be no impact to services during this period. Residents will be notified in advance if any temporary service interruptions occur during the construction period.
The Prespatou Water Station at 21869 Triad Road is temporarily closed from Tuesday, October 13 to Thursday, October 15, 2026, for scheduled maintenance and membrane replacement.
The water station will reopen for regular service on Friday, October 16, unless otherwise posted.
