Construction Notice for Charlie Lake Residents: Sanitary Sewer Upgrades

The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is notifying residents in the Charlie Lake area of upcoming sewer upgrades and maintenance in the Charlie Lake Sewer System including the repair and replacement of sanitary sewer infrastructure. The work will be carried out by Big League Utilities Ltd. as part of PRRD’s ongoing efforts to improve service reliability and community infrastructure.

Construction Schedule

Construction is scheduled to begin on October 21, 2026, and continue until the end of December 2026, with work expected to take place between 8am and 5pm. Restoration and hydroseeding will take place in the spring of 2027. 

Service Impacts and Notifications

There should be no impact to services during this period.

Residents will be notified in advance if any temporary service interruptions occur during the construction period. The PRRD will work to minimize disruptions to residents.
