PRRD 2026 Local Government Election Information Now Available

2026 is a local government election year – here is what you need to know about voting in the PRRD:

Voting opportunities for the PRRD 2026 Local Government Election will take place on October 7, 14 and 17, 2026.

The PRRD has issued a Notice of Election by Voting for Electoral Area D and Electoral Area E Director positions. Candidates in Electoral Areas B and C were acclaimed and no vote is required for those positions.

The PRRD is also seeking elector assent on six proposed services, including:

• Defined Portion of Area B – Golata Community Space Service
• Defined Portion of Area B – Osborn Community Space Service
• Defined Portion of Area E – Jackfish Community Space Service
• Area C – Water Service
• Area D – Water Service
• Area E – Water Service
