Heritage BC - Heritage Legacy Fund

Deadline: July 15

Eligible Amount: Up to $50,000

This program has four funding streams:

1. Heritage Conservation Program for the preservation, rehabilitation, and restoration of heritage resources.
2. Heritage Awareness Program for the research, documentation, presentation, and publication of information about specific community heritage resources.
3. Heritage Planning Program for the creation of planning documents to assist with heritage conservation and awareness.
4. Indigenous Partnership Program for initiatives to further reconciliation with Indigenous peoples through collaboration. 

UFA Agricultural Community Foundation - Rural Communities Grant

Deadline: July 31

Eligible Amount: $10,000 - $100,000

This program supports recreation, education, and cultural projects. Projects must take place within 200 km of a UFA location.

Northern Development Initiative Trust - Recreation Infrastructure

Deadline: July 31

Eligible Amount: Up to $300,000

This program focuses on construction, rehabilitation, or material enhancement of recreational infrastructure that leads to new jobs and revenues and encourages resident attraction and retention. Eligible projects include gymnasiums, pools, sports fields, trail networks, and campgrounds.

Northern Development Trust - Cultural Infrastructure

Deadline: July 31

Eligible Amount: Up to $300,000

This program supports creating or improving arts, heritage, culture, and creative innovation spaces, and projects that improve access to and the quality of professional arts and cultural facilities for residents and tourists.

Northern Development Trust - Economic Infrastructure

Deadline: July 31

Eligible Amount: Up to $300,000

This program supports projects that contribute to economic growth and stronger communities. Projects include renovations or new construction of public multi-use facilities or capital investments that drive revenues and job creation in a community.                                                                                                                           

Northern Development Initiative Trust - Community Places

Deadline: July 31

Eligible Amount: Up to $30,000

This program supports creating, restoring, and enhancing community spaces to enhance the overall quality of life for communities.

Community Gaming Grants - Capital Projects

Deadline: August 31

Eligible Amount: Up to $250,000 regional/provincial organizations

This program supports inclusive, accessible capital projects that meet community-identified needs and priorities.

BC Hydro

Deadline: August 28

Eligible Amount: Not defined; total funding available $20 million

As a part of Site C Agricultural Mitigation and Compensation Plan, BC Hydro has established a fund to support agricultural production, agri-foods economic activity, land productivity, land-based management, and environmental sustainability. 

South Peace Mackenzie Trust - Economic Diversification and Stabilization Fund

Deadline: Ongoing

Eligible Amount: Up to $250,000

This program encourages and supports economic development, diversification, and stabilization in the South Peace by creating new income-earning positions.
