Upcoming Grants

ViaSport - Community Sport Program Development Fund

Deadline: October 15

Eligible Amount: Up to $3,000

This program supports isolated rural communities where sport opportunities are fewer, as well as large urban populations where low sport participation exists. Programming may also be offered exclusively to under-represented populations or the whole community.

 

BC Arts Council - Various Arts Assistance Programs

Deadline: October 17 -November 6

Eligible Amount: Up to $25,000

This program supports creating or presenting public arts programming that provides engagement between artists, participants, and communities, and reduces or eliminates barriers to public participation in the arts.

 

YVR - YVR Cares

Deadline: November 15

Eligible Amount: Up to $20,000

This program supports community organizations or events that are working towards empowering people, supporting, communities, or creating a sustainable future.

 

Shell Corporation - Shell in the Community

Deadline: Ongoing 

Eligible Amount: Not defined

This program supports projects in the following areas:

  • education
  • community skills and enterprise development 
  • safety 
  • environment
  • health
  • access to energy 
  • community development

 

Enbridge - Community Investment 

Deadline: Ongoing

Eligible Amount: Not defined 

This program invests in projects within 20 kms of Enbridge pipelines and operations. The projects must address the long-term interests of a community and focus on safety, habitat conservation, environmental education, energy transition, youth, culture, Indigenous peoples, and/or building capacity.                                                                                                                  

South Peace Mackenzie Trust - Economic Diversification and Stabilization Fund

Deadline: Ongoing

Eligible Amount: Up to $250,000

This program encourages and supports economic development, diversification, and stabilization in the South Peace by creating new income-earning positions.
