Northern Development Initiative Trust - Cultural Infrastructure

This program supports creating or improving arts, heritage, culture, and creative innovation spaces, and projects that improve access to and the quality of professional arts and cultural facilities for residents and tourists.
Northern Development Initiative Trust - Economic Infrastructure

This program supports projects that contribute to economic growth and stronger communities. Projects include renovations or new construction of public multi-use facilities or capital investments that drive revenue and job creation in a community.
Northern Development Initiative Trust - Community Places

Eligible Amount: Up to $30,000
This program supports creating, restoring, and enhancing community spaces to improve the overall quality of life for communities.
Northern Development Initiative Trust - Recreation Infrastructure
Deadline: January 31
Eligible Amount: Up to $300,000
This program focuses on building, rehabilitating, or enhancing recreational infrastructure that leads to new jobs and revenues, and encourages resident attraction and retention. Eligible projects include gymnasiums, pools, sports fields, trail networks, and campgrounds.
Government of Canada: Local Festivals - Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage
Deadline: January 31 (for festivals starting between September 1 and December 31, 2026)
Eligible Amount: Up to $200,000
This program supports recurring festivals that present the work of local artists, local artisans, local heritage performers or specialists, and local First Nations, Inuit, and Métis cultural carriers. This includes the celebration of LGBTQ2+ communities and Indigenous cultural celebrations.
Province of BC - Community Workforce Response Grant

Eligible Amount: Up to $300,000
This program provides flexible, rapid-response funding to address urgent labour market needs in BC communities, covering skills training for unemployed and underemployed individuals.
Catherine Donnelly Foundation - Housing Grant Program

This program supports projects that address homelessness and the lack of affordable housing through research, policy development, capacity building, and advocacy within the sector.
Vancouver Foundation - BIPOC Grants
