Days of Remembrance Statement from Chair Sperling

Each year, on Remembrance Day, we pause to honour the profound dedication and sacrifice of those who served in Canada’s armed forces.

On November 11 at 11:00 AM, we observe a moment of silence, marking the end of the First World War and paying tribute to those who gave their lives to protect our freedoms.

We also recognize National Indigenous Veterans Day on November 8, honouring the distinguished service of First Nations, Inuit and Metis Veterans who stood in defense of Canada in both World Wars.

We remember all who have served. Lest we forget.

PRRD offices will be closed on November 11, 2025, in observance of Remembrance Day.
