ESS Update and Information - April 30, 2026

Emergency Support Services (ESS) are available for evacuated residents of the Old Fort landslide. Only residents who are in the Evacuation Order area are eligible for ESS. Renewals were completed on Wednesday, April 30, 2026. All hotels were able to accommodate those that renewed. BC Services Card App

ESS is made easier with the BC Services Card app on your smartphone. If you need to validate your BC Services Card app, please visit Service BC in Fort St. John during regular business hours.

If you have not already completed the validation process on the BC Service card app and want to access e-transfer, please visit the Service BC building (the courthouse building), hours 9am to 4:30pm ,before visiting the reception centre.
