High School Scholarships and Bursaries
Each year, the Electoral Area Director may set aside funding to provide scholarships and bursaries. If you are a student living in a rural area of the Peace River Regional District and you are graduating from high school, you can apply. These awards can help you cover costs like tuition, textbooks and course materials for post-secondary education. Awards are available for students at the following schools:
-
North Peace Secondary School has Electoral Area B Bursary and Electoral Area C Scholarship
- Dawson Creek Secondary School has the Sub-regional Academic Scholarship and Sub-regional Trades Bursary
- Chetwynd Secondary School has the Electoral Area E Bursary, which has two awards available
A selection committee will review applications based on where you live, your grades, involvement in the community, financial need and acceptance into a post-secondary program.
