Electoral Area Grant-in-Aid

The Peace River Regional District has funding available to help eligible organizations with community-led projects, programs, services or initiatives that benefit rural communities and go beyond regular services. Not-for-profit organizations who are registered and in good standing with the Societies Act of BC who operate in one or more of the Electoral Areas; or operate in a Municipality but provide benefit to one of more of the Electoral Areas; Local Government, First Nations Government, Band or Council; or School District or a rural school Parent Advisory Council (PAC) that is legitimized by the School Act are eligible.

You can apply to use this funding for a variety of needs, including fire services, capital projects, feasibility studies, school PACs and some general operating costs. Please see the Electoral Area Grant-in-Aid Policy for more information.

To apply at any time during the year, please email us your completed application or you can drop it off in person to:
