Acknowledging Funding

If your project or activity receives complete or partial funding from the PRRD, you must acknowledge that support. Make sure to follow these guidelines to recognize the grant provided properly. Thank you for helping us acknowledge the PRRD’s support.

Printed or Digital Materials

Please include the PRRD logo on all materials, such as documents, marketing items, reports, websites, apps and press releases. If possible, add a line like “Funded by the Peace River Regional District” or similar wording. For digital materials, make sure the PRRD logo links to the website: prrd.bc.ca.

Public Events

If you’re hosting a public event like a media conference, trade show or video production, please take a moment to verbally thank the PRRD for the support.

Posters, Flyers and Presentations

When space allows, include the PRRD logo and acknowledgment text on posters, flyers, educational materials, annual reports and PowerPoint presentations.

Brand Standards and Logo Files

Please review the Peace River Regional District’s Brand Standards Guide for logo and branding guidelines. To request logo files, email the PRRD Communications Department, including the project name, intended logo use (printed and/or digital) and project contact details. The department will send a link to download the Brand Kit. Email proofs of all applications featuring the PRRD logo or brand to the Communications Department.

Acknowledgment Text

Whenever the PRRD logo appears on printed or electronic materials, it must be accompanied by an acknowledgement text. Please use one of the following examples, choosing the option that best reflects the funding arrangement:

General Funding:

• "Funded by the Peace River Regional District.”
• "This project is funded [in part] by the Peace River Regional District."
• "This project has been made possible [in part] by the Peace River Regional District."
• "We acknowledge the [financial] support of the Peace River Regional District."
  
  

Electoral Area Funding:

• "We acknowledge the [financial] support of Electoral Area “B” in the Peace River Regional District.”
• "We acknowledge the [financial] support of Electoral Area “C” in the Peace River Regional District.”
• "We acknowledge the [financial] support of Electoral Area “D” in the Peace River Regional District.”
• "We acknowledge the [financial] support of Electoral Area “E” in the Peace River Regional District.”
