Wildlife Habitat Canada - Community Conservation Action Program
Deadline: October 3
Eligible Amount: $500 - $10,000
This program supports projects that:
- connect Canadians with Nature
- engage youth in conservation
- provide educational conservation programming
Tree Canada - Operation ReLeaf Planting Projects
Deadline: October 15
Eligible Amount: $10,000 - $50,000
This program helps recover areas that have undergone substantial tree loss due to a natural event.
ViaSport - Community Sport Program Development Fund
Deadline: October 15
Eligible Amount: Up to $3,000
This program supports isolated rural communities where sports opportunities are fewer, as well as large urban populations where low sports participation exists. Programming may also be offered exclusively to under-represented populations of the whole community.
Shell Corporation - Shell in the Community
Deadline: October 15
Eligible Amount: Not defined
This program supports projects in the following areas:
- education
- community skills and enterprise development
- safety
- environment
- health
- access to energy
- community development
Community Gaming Grants - Capital Gaming Grant
Deadline: October 15
Eligible Amount: $20,000 - $1.25 million
This program supports capital projects that demonstrate public accessibility and widespread community benefit. Projects must fall into one of four project categories: facilities, community infrastructure, acquisitions, or repatriation.
Petro-Canada Caremakers Foundation - Local Grants
Deadline: October 17
Eligible Amount: Up to $7,500
This program supports charities providing vital resources and direct support to family caregivers, including:
- educational programs
- transportation
- meal assistance
- respite care
- emotional, financial, and community support
- healthcare navigation to other types of vital assistance
Government of BC - Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program (REDIP)
Deadline: October 31
Eligible Amount: $50,000 - $1,000,000
This program supports rural economic development projects with a focus on economic diversification, capacity building, and infrastructure development.
South Peace Mackenzie Trust - Economic Diversification and Stabilization Fund
Deadline: Ongoing
Eligible Amount: Up to $250,000
This program encourages and supports economic development, diversification, and stabilization in the South Peace by creating new income-earning positions.
