| Description | This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Peace River Regional District (“PRRD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for RFP 23-2026 Rural Settlement Centre Study, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The PRRD is seeking a qualified consultant to undertake a Rural Settlement Centre Study to provide clear, data-based guidance around potential growth management, housing and servicing level options for rural communities in the region. The final deliverables will include a technical document which provides clear policy direction on potential servicing levels, triggers and thresholds for various community services using easily updated formulas that can be tailored to specific communities and updated over time. The technical policy document will be used to guide decision-making, capital planning and growth management for the region in addition to informing and supporting the development of Official Community Plans, Zoning Bylaws, servicing bylaws and other Regional District policies and bylaws as applicable. |
