FireSmart
The Peace River Regional District partners with wildfire experts every year to deliver the FireSmart BC program to rural residents. Learn how to be FireSmart by making changing to your property to help prepare for the next wildfire. Our region is prone to wildfires because of the overlap between wildlands and urban areas, combined with strong winds during fire season, which increases the fire risk. A proactive approach reduces the risk of loss of life and property in extreme wildfire conditions.
Book a Consultation
Get prepared now by booking a free FireSmart Home Ignition Zone Consultation with Mammoth Forestry. During the consultation, the team will review the outside of your property for wildfire risk and give you a tailored protection solutions package.
