Voting stations are available across the Peace River Regional District for the 2026 General Local Election. You can either use the Vote Search Tool above and enter your address into it to see where you can vote, or you can review the available voting stations below and vote where you live. A print version of the voting stations is also available.

Please note: The Peace River Regional District Dawson Creek Office is the designated voting headquarters. Any eligible elector may vote there on Advance Voting Days (October 7 and 14) and on General Voting Day (October 17). Accordingly, this location appears as a voting station option in each listing regardless of electoral area relevance.

What You Need to Vote

To vote as a resident, you must:

  • Be 18 or older on voting day
  • Be a Canadian citizen
  • Have lived in British Columbia for at least six (6) months before registering to vote
  • Live in the electoral area where you’re voting
  • Not be disqualified from voting under any laws or otherwise disqualified by law

If you’re voting as a non-resident property owner, please review the voter eligibility guidelines on our website.

Acceptable Forms of ID

You do not need to pre-register to vote. Registration happens when you arrive at a polling station on voting day.

Examples of acceptable forms of ID include:

  • BC Driver's Licence
  • BC Identification Card
  • BC Services Card
  • BC Care Card
  • BC Gold Care Card
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Canadian Passport
  • Property Tax Notice
